The Purple Mountain provides students with the opportunity to meet the challenge of the great outdoors. Dalby Forest on the North York Moors is an excellent area for outdoor education, exploring it by mountain bike gives a real sense of adventure. Miles of moorland tracks allow students to experience the excitement of hurtling down a rocky decent, adrenalin flowing, or just to potter along and enjoy the rugged moorland scenery, green dales or spectacular coastline. Mountain biking in this isolated area of open countryside provides a challenging activity suitable for all students. Riding in a group encourages co-operation and a team spirit boosts confidence. Freedom, excitement, and achievement are just some of the elements students can experience with Purple Mountain.

Purple Mountain Biking Adventures can plan your activities to fit in with National Curriculum and GCSE and GNVQ programmes. We can also accommodate for those following JSLA, CSLA and D of E courses, as our instructors are qualified P.E. teachers. We also provide the OTC Right Track and Wheelie awards.
