Purple Mountain Biking Adventures provides you with the opportunity to meet the challenge of the great outdoors, and explore Dalby Forest by mountain bike.

Our guided breaks are carefully planned to ensure your enjoyment. There are no rigid formulas just brilliant trails, spectacular views, and a chance to exchange everyday pressure for fun, challenge, socialising and the satisfaction of adventure.

Here at Purple Mountain we appreciate the need for good food and drink, comfortable accommodation and friendly personal service. We endeavour to provide all this and more, along with traditional Yorkshire hospitality.

Our professional guides will take you to the best trails off the beaten track, and they know where all the best watering holes are of course.

The Riding

All our rides are carefully planned to take in the best off-road riding in the North Yorks National Park. Generally, we expect cyclists to be capable of 20-25 miles on the 1^st day and slightly less on the 2^nd. The rides are full of variety from gentle country lanes to steep rocky descents with big sky panoramic views.

Accommodation

Accommodation is in the local chapel that has been converted into fully central heated bunk accommodation with lounge, kitchen and lovely hot showers - just what you need after a tough day in the saddle.

Catering

After burning off 100's of calories all day, you deserve a good feed and drink. After a hearty breakfast we will ride till lunch time. We will provide you with a packed lunch to enjoy on the tops. Evening meal will be served with a well deserved beer or a glass of wine.
