MOUNTAIN BIKING can provide the ideal opportunity to discover the unspoiled beauty of Dalby Forest.

The Purple Mountain hire centre is based in Low Dalby, a small, lively village, in Dalby Forest, near Pickering. Being at the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, it is well situated for exploring the rugged moorland and gentle picturesque valleys and dales.

Bikes are supplied with helmet, pump, repair kit and lock. We have a range of children's bikes, including towalongs,and childseats, and even a tandem.
